Greetings and Blessings,
2 Corinthians 1:20-22
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
3 Primary Bible based priorities:
1) Love God with all your heart
Matthew 22:37-38 J_esus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment
Deuteronomy 6:4-6 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
2) Serve God with all your heart
Joshua 22:5 But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 11:13 So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money
3) Trust God with all your heart
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Psalms 55:23 But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the blood thirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit._
May you have a weekend filled with loving, serving and trusting God!
What a Life!!
